  • How do I schedule an appointment?

    The best way to schedule an appointment is online. If necessary, call 703-570-5951, or email sharasmiletoday@gmail.com. When leaving a message, please state your name, desired appointment time, and best way to reach you (phone/email).

  • What happens if I show up a few minutes late to my scheduled appointment?

    I will try to accommodate your entire scheduled session as best I can. All appointments begin and end on time.

  • What if I need to cancel my appointment?

    Your scheduled appointment is reserved exclusively for you. I have a strict TWO (2) business day cancellation policy. I charge the full amount booked if appointments are cancelled or rescheduled with less notice. No exceptions.

  • What types of payments do you accept?

    Cash, check, and all major credit cards. Payment is due at time of service. Services are non-refundable. 

  • Do you accept health insurance?

    No. For clients who wish to use their insurance benefits, I can can provide a detailed invoice for you to submit to your health insurance for reimbursement for out of network benefits.

  • Are you licensed?

    Yes. Certified LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and MHSP (Mental Health Service Provider) in the states of Virginia and Tennessee. I meet all requirements for both states and am insured in both states.

  • How are you in two states?

    I initially established my practice in Reston, Va. I’ve moved to Tennessee. While I am in Tennessee full-time, I will see clients in-person in the Franklin, Tennessee offices.


    For Virginia clients: I am scheduling clients in Virginia via tele-health, and will only schedule in-person sessions when it coordinates with work trip, speaking engagement, workshop, or other opportunities in Virginia.
