Happy Fall, everyone!
As the new month begins, I hope you and your family are enjoying the season's cooler temperatures, colorful leaves, and pumpkin spice treats. Taking time to appreciate these small joys can be a great way to support your mental and physical well-being, especially considering the challenges many people face.
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. This year, I’m sharing a personal message following the loss of a dear friend to suicide. He was a vibrant, giving person who traveled the world and made a difference in many lives. Despite his outward appearance of joy and his efforts to seek help, he struggled with mental health issues, which ultimately led to his tragic death by suicide. This loss has left a significant void and many unanswered questions, along with a mix of emotions including anger, guilt, and grief.
In my “Mental Health Minute” videos this month, I’ll provide information and hope for anyone struggling with suicidal thoughts or issues. Remember, if you or someone you know is facing these challenges, there is help available. Please reach out for support, whether you’re dealing with suicidal thoughts, coping with a loss, or seeking to help a loved one. You don’t have to face this alone.

Three years ago, Shara Smile was just a dream. Today, it's a reality that fills my heart with gratitude and joy.
